Ms. Radhika Piramal is an accomplished business leader, philanthropist, and advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion. She serves as a Director on the Board of Chalet Hotels Ltd., a publicly listed company in India, and as a Trustee on the boards of GiveOut and Dasra, two leading charitable organisations in the UK.

Ms. Piramal spent over a decade in leadership roles at VIP Industries, India’s leading luggage company. She served as Managing Director & CEO from 2010 to 2017 and subsequently as Executive Director until September 2025. During this period, she drove VIP’s transformation through product innovation, brand revitalisation, and a renewed focus on next-generation consumers. Under her stewardship, the company’s market capitalization grew from approximately USD 150 million to over USD 1 billion. She is widely recognised for her dynamic and transparent leadership and has received several honours, including Economic Times 40 Under 40 (2015), CNBC-TV18’s Young Businesswoman Award (2016), and Business Today’s Most Powerful Women in India for three consecutive years (2015–2017).

Earlier in her career, Ms. Piramal worked as a management consultant with Bain & Company in New York. She holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Brasenose College, University of Oxford, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is also a Fellow of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

One of India’s few openly lesbian business leaders, Ms. Piramal is a respected voice on diversity and inclusion. She divides her time between Mumbai and London and enjoys travelling, reading, yoga, and spending time with dogs.
